Government-Subsidized Mediation
Quebec residents may qualify for free mediation services.
The Quebec government offers subsidized mediation services for separating couples:
- Five (5) hours of free mediation for couples with dependent children.
- Three (3) hours of free mediation for couples without dependent children.
- 2.5 additional hours for parents needing to modify an existing agreement (e.g., child support recalculation, custody adjustments, or vacation schedules).
